Visiting the City of Culture

The City of Culture has opened its doors to everyone who wants to discover it. Visitors can access its various spaces freely and tour the exterior of the City of Culture, from the Hejduk Towers to the central plaza and its iconic buildings. Gaiás also offers guided tours to get to know this architectural complex in depth.

Special measures due to the health situation

➖  Opening to the public of the Gaiás Centre Museum facilities and its temporary exhibitions in normal visiting hours, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 75% of capacity.

➖ The Hejduk Towers are also open to the public at 75% of capacity.

➖ The Library of Galicia is open to the public with its normal hours and services. However, it is limited to half normal capacity, which means there will be 45 places in the reading room.

➖ On-site activities in the different spaces of the City of Culture: the number of people will be limited, in line with the health measures.

➖ The natural spaces and leisure areas remain open until 11 p.m..

To be informed of any possible changes to the services offered by the City of Culture complex, check the websites and social media of both the City of Culture and the institutions, companies and organisations located in Gaiás but which are not part of the City of Culture Foundation of Galicia.

Due to the Covid-19 prevention and control measures, the maximum size of the groups in guided tours is currently limited and booking in advance is required, but the facilities and the exhibitions may be visited without reservation and free.
