Visit the City of Culture
In order to guarantee the health of visitors, users and workers, and following the indications of the health authorities in relation to Covid-19, the Cidade da Cultura de Galicia Foundation informs you that:
➖ From 18 May, the Gaiás Museum is open from Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm, with limited access according to the public mesures. The Public Information Service is active, located on the main floor of the facilities.
➖ The Galician Library is open from May 18th and its capacity is reduced to 30%. It is now possible to borrow and consult the collections held in the library, but only by request or by booking in advance. In addition, inter-library lending is now active. The reading room, which has reduced capacity to 41 seats, can now be used. You can also consult the computers for public use || Open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 9 pm.
➖ The Archive of Galicia initially maintains the telematic attention, reserving the attention in person for essential cases and under previous appointment.
➖ The Information Point of the Cidade da Cultura, located in the Museum Centro Gaiás, is open from Monday to Sunday. From 10 am to 8 pm. Questions, queries or clarifications are answered by telephone on 881 997 584 or by e-mail: email@example.com
➖ From April 26, green areas of the Galician Forest and the Lake Parque will open from Monday to Sunday, until 11 pm.
➖ The children's area of the Cidade da Cultura and the spaces of the Literary Garden and the Theatre Garden are open to the public from June 15th with limited use.
➖ The skate park in the Jardim do Teatro is open from 15 June, with a limit on the number of users.
➖ Work teams from the Gaiás Museum, the Library and the Archive of Galicia continue to work internally, providing services through digital tools and promoting online content.
➖ Work spaces of the Centro de Emprendemento Gaiás - CEM are open to provide services to companies and entrepreneurs who use the facilities, but always in accordance with general health recommendations.
➖ The restaurant services of the Cafeteria-Restaurant at the Gaiás Museum and A Cantina are now open following the health safety protocols.
With a view to potential changes to services at the Cidade da Cultura, we would ask the public to consult the web pages and social media accounts of the institutions, enterprises and groups located in the Gaiás that do not depend on the Cidade da Cultura de Galicia Foundation.
