Embarking on a journey that will take us back to the very beginning, to the seed, to the origin of a historical and cultural phenomenon that lives on in our times: that of pilgrimage. This is the invitation made by the City of Culture of Galicia with the exhibition The Way. The Origin, a project directed by María García-Alén presenting a selection of 150 works of art and eleven artistic interventions that offer a contemporary view of the Way of St James.
With the exhibition Fresh Water, the City of Culture invites us to rediscover the universal beauty of an element that defines the soul of Galicia, seem through the eyes of great artists.
The Foundation of the City of Culture of Galicia is hosting the third edition of the International Forum on spaces for Culture, that will take place on November 15 and 16, 2013 at the City of Culture of Galicia. On this occasion, and with the title The Revolution of Art Festivals, it will focus its attention on the capability of certain events to transform a city and its community.
Take a guided tour to discover one of the Spain's architectural works with the most visual impact and explore the quartz and glass city that rises at the top of mount. You will get to enter areas that are normally restricted to the public and enjoy art installations and exhibits, taste a Galician wine and receive a keepsake at the end.
