The City of Culture of Galicia and the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago offers the  training program "Creation and Consolidation of Cultural and Creative Industries", aimed at promoting the launch and consolidation of cultural industries.

The course, which is completely free, will count with the participation of a maxuimum of 25 projects related to cultural industries. It is mainly directed at small businesses and those in charge of cultural and creative enterprises in different sectors such as arts, theater, music, dance, audiovisual, publishing, new technologies or design, as well as at entrepreneurs who have a defined cultural project.

This training program has a total of 320 hours, of which 15% will take place in a classroom at the Library and Archive of Galicia and 85% in the form of coaching where every participant will receive individual advice for their businesses.

The methodology of the program focuses on the role of culture in the new society, so that all participants will develop a presentation of the Business Plan for a business project.

During the eight weeks of the course, tutors will present the contents of the training modules, that will be focused on cultural enterprise management, marketing and trading, risk prevention, environmental quality and equality of opportunity, financial and economic management and new information technologies and software.
