The City of Culture hosts during the Saturdays of March a workshop of "Cabezudos" where participants will be able to create one of these traditional figures, but with a more conceptual design that follows historical avant-garde artists.

During 4 sessions coordinated by teachers that belong to the theatre company Viravolta, these huge-head figures will be built and decorated. The workshop will start with the construction of the basis with cardboard and boxes that will be reinforced in a second stage with paper and glue. Once the structure is ready, it is time to decorate the huge head with crayons, coloured papers and photocopies with different typographies. The result: "minimalist" huge-head figures made from a more conceptual point of view and decorated following the tips of the plastic artist Misha Bies Golas.
