Special health measures 2021

In the light of the new health restrictions announced in Decree 26/2001 and the Order of 15 February, 2021, the City of Culture of Galicia Foundation (Fundación Cidade da Cultura de Galicia) has announced the following measures will be in force from 17 February to 3 March:

➖ The Gaiás Centre Museum and the exhibition Through Isaac’s Eyes will be open to the public at the usual opening hours (from 10 am to 8 pm) at a third of normal capacity.

➖ The Hejduk Towers, which at present are hosting the artistic exhibition The Distance of the Image, will also be open to be public during this period, at a third of normal capacity.

➖ The Customer Service for Gaiás Visitors will operate at the Gaiás Centre Museum entry desk and also on the phone number 881 997 584 and email o.informacion@cidadedacultura.

➖The Library of Galicia facilities will be open to the public at the normal opening hours and offering the usual services: visits to the exhibitions, bibliographical information and consultation of documents stored in the deposits. The capacity will be limited to 30% of normal, which in the reading room means 36 places will be available.

➖ On-site activities in the various spaces of the City of Culture complex are also being resumed. As a general rule, the number of places will be limited to 30% of normal maximum capacity of each space, and a maximum of four people in group activities, whether or not they live together, excluding the monitor and/or guide.

➖ The natural and leisure spaces in the City of Culture will remain open until the start of curfew, currently set at 10 p.m.

To keep up to date with any changes to the services available at the City of Culture complex, please consult the websites and social media accounts of the City of Culture, as well as the institutions, companies and groups located in Gaiás that are not part of the Cidade da Cultura de Galicia Foundation.

We remind you that the decisions aim to minimise the impact of the coronavirus, and thank you for your understanding and collaboration. Please feel free to explore all the contents of the City of Culture available online.
