This tour starts with a visit to the permanent exhibition of the models of all the projects presented in 1999 for the International Architectural Competition to construct the City of Culture of Galicia, where you will discover the milestones of the history of the complex. You will learn about the projects presented by distinguished teams of architects from Spain and abroad, such as Ricardo Bofill, Manuel Gallego Jorreto, Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer, Steve Holl, Rem Koolhaas, Daniel Libeskind, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Jean Nouvel, Dominique Perrault and César Portela. You will also learn details of the project designed by Eisenman Architects, chosen for its distinctive conceptual and artistic nature and exceptional adaptation to its location.
The tour continues with the outdoor spaces, where you can enjoy not only the buildings in the complex, but also learn about the latest progress in the works being carried out on Gaiás. Your tour concludes at the viewpoint over the Forest of Galicia that offers us an unknown and spectacular panorama of the city of Santiago de Compostela.
