The work of Erich Mendelsohn (1887-1953), his imagination sprung from a totally personal stance, and he refused to be inspired by existing art forms. Famous for the Einstein Tower in Potsdam (masterpice of expressionist architecture), the Hat atelier in Luckenwalde and the Schocken Department Store in Stuttgart.
