Volcanic eruptions, meteor impacts, massive floods, gigantic dinosaurs, astonishing marine creatures… Origins recreates a wild and untamed nature where long-extinct beings come back to life, while also revealing species that have inhabited the Earth for millions of years—long before humankind set foot on our planet.
The immersive sensory experience Origins spans four billion years of our planet’s evolution: from an uninhabitable, incandescent sphere to the extinction of the fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex, passing through the explosion of life in the oceans and the emergence of the first great forests on land.

Guided by mixed reality technology, which seamlessly blends the physical and virtual worlds, we embark on a cosmic journey through time. Visitors walk through the Museo Centro Gaiás equipped with immersive headsets that allow them to witness the pulse of life inside emerging species, which interact with visitors and evolve over millennia.
A fully sensory experience that enhances our perception of nature, unveils hidden life forms, and confronts us with a powerful question: Could humankind be the trigger of a new mass extinction on our planet?
