The festival "Music Way" arrives at the City of Culture with a program especially aimed at children. On September 29th there will be live music shows, workshops and other activities related to music and aimed at children aged up to 14. This will be an event that tries to introduce children to the spirit of music and make them participate of the creative process.

The stage at the Gaiás will be used by the children band "Mama Cabra" to make the youngest audiences enjoy their funny games and their lively songs. For those interested in urban culture, the Music Way features a street dance crew that performs spectacular hip-hop choreographies: Brodas. And to round off this program, Alondra Bentley comes back to Gaiás to perform her album, made of songs written for kids: "Alondra Bentley sings for children, It's Holidays"

The Music Way will also program different activities and workshops for children to approach the world of music: a workshop for future DJs, a workshop of live composition using computer, another workshop of t-shirt customization and even a workshop of recycled music instruments. The program offers as well activities such as a workshop of music photography, a karaoke, short fills, and the installation of a very special instrument: the Aquaphone.
